Alpha Lambda Chapter The Alpha Lambda Chapter at Texas Southern University was established April 28, 1928, when the campus was actually called the Texas College for Negroes. The chapter has a rich history and legacy, which continues today. The chapter actively participates in national programs along with the Gamma Phi Sigma Chapter and hosts events on their own as well. These events include informational sessions and Sigma Week, to name a few. The Gamma Phi Sigma Chapter is the overseeing graduate chapter for Alpha Lambda.
Delta Alpha ChapterFounded on the campus of Prairie View A & M University in November of 1969, the Delta Alpha Chapter hosts various events throughout the year. The chapter proactively upholds the sorority motto: “Greater Service, Greater Progress,” as they participate in events such as bone marrow donor registry, informational sessions, freshman orientation, highway clean-up and much more! The Gamma Phi Sigma Chapter is the overseeing graduate chapter for Delta Alpha.
